Rick Upchurch, runner up in Super Bowl and in Rice bowl.
The second grid is named for Rick Upchurch, the most exciting player on Denver's first Super Bowl team (sorry, Craig Morton). Upchurch personified the Orange Crush mania of the 70s. He shone in that Super Bowl, though Bronco QB Craig Morton lost the game to his former Dallas teammates (sorry again, Craig Morton). Fun fact: Rick Upchurch was once engaged to Condoleeza Rice.
