Grid 2 is named in honor of the inimitable Randy Vataha, a Stanford product who in 1971 famously migrated to the Patriots along with his Cardinal buddy Jim Plunkett. He was Wes Welker before Wes Welker, who was Wes Welker before Julian Edelman. Here's to you, Randy Vataha.
